Welcome to RyNo Strength®
Authentic. Personal. Positive.
We’ve worked in the fitness industry for the past 16 years, and we are tired of seeing people confused in health and fitness.
We’ve worked at the highest level in college athletics in Division 1, completed over 20 courses and certifications, and we’ve helped over hundreds of everyday people reach their fitness goals and live a healthier lifestyle.
The information we’ve learned is known in the athletic world, but it’s not getting shared with the people who need it most: the moms and dads of our next generation, the teachers who are educating our children, and our parents who are slowly declining with age.
We work with clients to provide fitness and nutrition advice that they can actually implement into their busy schedules. There is a lot of free workout advice on the internet, as well as sample meal plans. Whilst these might seem like good value options, and a small percentage of people find success with them, most of them are a waste of time and are generic and unsustainable. The reason? They aren’t personalized to fit the person’s needs!
Seeing the troublesome state of health in the world, especially in family and friends, reminded us the world needs more good coaches. Obesity is at an all time high and the rates of depression are on the rise. We have all the free information on health and fitness so why is this happening? People need guidance from a trustworthy and authentic coach who knows what it’s like to feel these things. As someone who was diagnosed with high blood pressure and pre-diabetes, adopting exercise as a habit was the best thing that ever happened to me. We want to foster a community of health and wellness that is built around helping people prevent these negative things from happening in their lives.

Ryan Nosak
Ryan realized he had an extreme affinity for strength training and he began working at a local gym at age 15. He coached his friends through strength training sessions and realized he had a knack for teaching and inspiring others. His experiences at the gym throughout high school introduced him to the world of strength and conditioning and Ryan realized he wanted to become a coach. Ryan attended Penn State University for his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, where he worked as a student coach for the Penn State Nittany Lions football team, as well as numerous other sports.

Miguel Sanchez
Miguel’s first experience in strength and conditioning came while he was a soccer player at Benedictine University. When he walked into the offseason with little to no knowledge on proper strength training in the gym, he felt overwhelmed and confused by exercises he watched. He was fortunate to have a strength and conditioning coach that helped guide him through technique, improve confidence, and improve his strength levels. The following season he noticed improved performance in soccer and his team were able to make a run in the NCAA Tournament. This led Miguel to pursue a career in the strength and conditioning field to pay it forward and have a positive impact on people’s lives through strength training.
After graduating college, Miguel worked with youth athletes, high school athletes, Division 1 athletes, and general fitness clients. He obtained his certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA. Over the course of four years, he has had the opportunity to work with Sport Performance Departments working with the Olympic Sport Teams at DePaul University, and High School Football Strength and Conditioning at Riverside-Brookfield and Nazareth Academy. These experiences have helped Miguel provide a second to none experience to clients by educating them on resistance training and working with them to accomplish their goals in fitness.
Miguel completed his undergraduate degree in Exercise Sport Studies from Benedictine University. His certifications include the CSCS and the USAW-Level 1 for teaching Olympic movements.
Chris King
Chris is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and NASM Certified Nutrition Coach located in the Scranton, Pennsylvania area. He is passionate about helping clients live healthier lives and customizes routines to meet individual needs and goals, be it for athletes, busy parents, or those pursuing improved health and energy.
Chris, a fitness enthusiast for over 20 years, began his journey as an athlete using strength training to get better in sports. This led him to a high level baseball career, having played college baseball for two years. But strength training wasn’t just for sports; it transformed his health and life. Now, he’s committed to guiding others through their own fitness journeys.
Fun fact: Chris was Ryan’s first gym buddy. Ryan invited him to join RyNo Strength because Chris had a transformative effect on Ryan’s life, and he believes Chris can do the same for others.
